The bike looks great! The ride that produced that look must have been painfully cold. Here on Saipan Island, the temp is always 85F day and 75F night - 365. Snow is unlikely. (:-))

That Cake looks like the "new" C'Dale Jekyll design.
And the Shugs look a lot like their RZ 120's.

I too have love for the Shugs!

A few pics of my 2010 Wahoo Disc. Picked this up in brand new condition off eBay for only $475 last month. Promptly took it out on some muddy trails. Been riding 3 times a week since I got it. I can keep up with most 26ers on local XC trails but I just don't have a chance against the guys with full suspension 29ers, but for the price I paid, I can't complain.

This is my second GF bike. My first was a 1997 Big Sur (the one with white tires) back when I was in high school. Took some time off from the sport after it got stolen.

    i love my gary fisher!

    Hifi pro carbon 09

I had doubts about buying a carbon frame but i ended up buying it and its amazing great for up hill and on trails.
Have not had many problems with it most of the problems i have had where my fault small mistakes nothing siriouse!

I did remove the reflectors on the spokes though they did make it look a bit silly aqnd changed to clipless pedals cus the dmr flat pedals where a bit over rated for this bike!

Cobra45: Where's the lift ticket from? Are those i9 wheels on your SS (only wheels I know with spokes that come red and look that thick)?

I take my SF100 to lift served trails all the time, once I found it was surprisingly tough. More fun just to ride down

Pretty rocky in NY mtns I'd imagine though. I can imagine a SF100 trying to hang with someone on a Kona Stinky or an Intense Uzzi in Diablo or Plattekill.

The lift ticket is from Swain which is a pretty small mountain. I would imagine it would do ok at Diablo or Plattekill, but not sure what the mountains are like there. The SF100 works very well at Swain though because there aren't any huge jumps to hit so it's mostly just superfast downhill terrain, almost like single track stuff. The only thing I would do if I go back is put bigger rotors on because 160mm are not enough to stop.

Are you from NY? Where do u go to get lift served rides? And yes those are I9 wheels on my SS and I love them so much I'll be getting a set for my SF100 here in the next few weeks.

Posted this ol' girl in the SS forum, but thought I'd add it to this thread too. Most fun I've had on a bike! First SS and like others said, it's like BMX for grownups. I love the Mary Bar clone but the rocky terrain here in Central Texas is a bit too technical and I feel a somewhat disconnected. Keepin' it real with steel!

What fork are you running on that beauty. I have a 98' that I would like to up grade the fork for next year. Just wondering what my limitations are with travel so I don't mess with the geometry to bad.

    Cool.
I'll take that Fox off your hands.
Why do you find it to be too much?
What type of trails do you ride?

i usualy drive all mountain/trail. too much means that center of gravity moves to the rear wheel, and on heavier ascents front wheel detachs from the ground. it's heavy to ride uphill with that setup. sugar's original setup was with RS Duke XC w/U-Turn 63 to 108mm travel. that means that i have difference from about 75 to 40mm. thats the reason why i want to change the fork. i'm looking for fox f100 or talas 100-140.
