    My SF100

Take a look. My SF is autographed by the MAN himself. Got to meet him at Iceman and he signed my bike.

    1st 29er

Hello fellow fisher owners my 1st post here. I bought a X-Caliber 2010 recently.

    Some changes

New Vs OLD 1999 Big Sur

I may remain a bit of a lurker around here.
It's better to be loved by the righteous few than to be liked by a lukewarm many.

I uploaded this photo set about a year ago. And my 2010 X-Cal is still going strong.
Only this time I have my race team kit to upload with it.

See you all on the trails.

My new to me 08 Superfly. Been looking for a clean 2008 for a while now. I just think they're the best looking SF IMO. Took some parts of my Paragon & this is now my main ride!

    '09 Tassajara

This is my "new" Tassajara. Got it from a guy that moved up to a 29'er. Paid two hundred bucks for it. Man am I stoked. Can't wait till it's warm enough to ride. Quit smoking in '98, and started doing single track on a Mongoose Sommet. Started back smoking in '04. I quit again a couple weeks ago, this time for good and really looking forward to putting this Fisher through some good single track.

Im about 5'10" and the bike is a 55cm. I was actually considering an upgrade this fall and I road a Bianchi Via Nirrone, C'dale Super Six, C'dale synapse alloy, Scott Speedster and, at that point, I gave up. Nothing felt as comfortable as the Fisher. So, I found a used grouppo, bought a 105 crank, and I'll have new wheels in the spring for it.

The LBS was all out out of Cronus, though. I should have tried to get on one of those. Maybe the geo is similar?

I'm not sure, I got the frame on eBay for $700 w/ ceramic bearings and swapped a bunch of stuff over from a Lemond. I've never ridden the cross bikes, but love the look of them and the dropouts are dope. I've never had a carbon bike and really want a steel bike to be honest. All I've had in the past is steel and I just prefer the look, feel, longevity. I love my Filmore but want to put some fatty tires on it and there is no clearance is the only reason I'm looking at anything else.

I really hate that this thread has the one dude who posted 50 close-up pictures of every single component on his bike because even with a fast connection I have to wait for them to load...argh!

I think you may be thinking of the Lane. The Rail was an aluminum road bike, 2010 model year. It was not carried over into the Trek GFC.

I like the Lane. Cool frame. A little pricey for the part spec, no doubt due to the higher cost of the frame.
Worked at Trek/Fisher dealer 2008-2013. Only a little biased.

Sorry for yet another "garage door" picture, but it is all I could do....even forgot to pop the rear reflector off. Anyway...here is my first 29er. A 2010 GF HiFi Deluxe. Bought it as a leftover off my LBS showroom for under 2K. It's wet and melting snow outside, but I am heading south to get in some riding. Can't wait to see how it rides compared to my 26er Trance X2. I've ridden my buddy's 08 and this one was pretty sweet in the parking lot...

Narrowed the bars just a bit....still need to add the pedals....
