I've got your twin! I recently took her out of storage and have started hitting the trails again (and started frequenting MTBR again):

Dang, that Piranha looks a lot better in your pictures than it does on the website. Nice one.

Great looking bike! I've been looking for pictures on the internet for this model, so I thank you for posting. It is a bike I am considering.

In all seriousness, probably the best bang for your buck mountain bike out there.

WRT hardtails I'd say one of the better deals.
When you need a full squishie on the other hand best bang for the buck needs another entry.

My Rumblefish 2 turned up last week and had a bit of a spin on it this weekend. I can't really review it as yet as I've ridden rigids and hardtails for the last 4 or 5 years, so the smoothing feeling may take some getting used to.

Mostly stock Tarpon. Added RS Tora 318 Solo Air, WTB Velociraptor 2.1's, SPD pedals, and Kool Stop Thinline Salmon all-weather pads.. I'm a heavier rider and will be adding a Thomson stem and seatpost to beef it up (plus their made right here in Macon.) I like that the Tarpon has essentially the same frame as several higher GF models but with lower end components. I will keep upgrading those as I go. Bought this one with my wifes Tarpon GS so I had less to spend on my bike.

    '09 Gary Fisher Tassajara

I purchased this 2009 Gary Fisher Tassajara one week ago. It is my second bike from the GF Hardtail line. I swapped out the stock handlebar grips with ESI "Racer's Edge" grips and next will be CrankBrothers clipless pedals and better tires.

Damn, the paint jobs on the recent Fishers are really sweet and look a lot nicer in your photos than the ones on the Fisher site. I love the inverted colors on the inside of the chainstays.

I'm not sure where the fly is made, but I do know it is kinda rude to knock someones ride whether it's high end or low end. I think the fly is fly

Superfly is a OCLV carbon product and is made in Waterloo. Lifetime replacement on the frame too.

Just picked up a '10 Wahoo Disc today after having my 2 other bikes stolen recently. Needless to say I'll be keeping this one inside the house and not in the garage! It's stock for now, but will be replacing pedals and saddle this weekend.
