    29-3 TLR 2.25 clearance issues?

Looking at pulling the trigger on the 29-3 TLR team tires for my '09 Paragon. I'd like to run the 2.25 front and rear (I like larger volume tires). Bontrager rep couldn't tell me for sure if the 2.25 will have clearance issues on the rear. Anyone here running these tires on a Paragon or any other hardtail?

I haven't done it, but I'm confident it will work fine. The 2.25 29-3 isn't as big as some other 2.25s I've seen.

Good info. My XDX 2.1 is wider than a 2.3 WTB on my other bike...thought the 2.25 29-3 would be way larger than what I have now. Have you seen the 2.25 29-3 compared to the 2.1 XDX?

Yeah, 2.1 XDX is pretty big. I have not seen them side by side but iirc they would be pretty close, with the knobs. XDX casing would definitely be larger.

Excellent info...I'll order two of the larger 23-9 TLR tires. Thanks for the information.

I have been running a pair on my Superfly SS all year with no issues. I ran 10psi in them the other day on a snow ride and still had plenty of clerance. I have them mounted on a set of Stans Crests.
