I'd say that's fair. I bought a 2010 Marlin Disc for like 600 brand new a few years back.
More importantly, does the bike fit you? Do you like how the bike feels? Fisher's have a pretty distinct feel due to the G2 geometry. Ride the bike and make sure you like it. Don't just buy it because it's a good price.
If you've done all of the above and you really like the bike I'd say go for it. Components won't be the best but you can upgrade those
