    2003 Sugar 293 fork replacement

The Marzocchi MX-Pro 29 w/ETA that came on the bike has given up the ghost. What's a good replacement that I can get fairly inexpensively (as I'm saving pennies for a new bike)?

I tossed the Vbrakes for Juicy 7s a few years ago so it only needs mounts for that disk setup.

I've never replaced a shock but if I look for a used shock what are the requirements on axle/headset sizes that I need to worry about?

For price, look for a used Tora 100mm.
I crashed hard enough on my Tallboy to break my leg,
The carbon is way more durable than most people.

I have an 03 Marzocchi Marathon SL w/eta. It was overhauled, new oil and outer seals a few years ago and has been sitting since. This fork has been used hard but like most Zokes, still running just fine. PM me if you are interested. Steerer tube is 1-1/8 diameter, 7-1/4" long which would work for a medium or small.
Anyone who rides a bike is a friend of mine.
My favorite bike is whatever I am riding.
My favorite trail is where ever I am.
Bikes and equipment are replaceable, friends and trails are not.

That old Marzocchi is a wet noodle......yes I know, had a '03 293 as well. Newer forks will be stiffer and the added travel will help with the 85 degreee head angle.

Yeah, those forks weren't much on a few aspects of performance/adjustments but I am letting it go $$cheap$$ so hbar314 might take me up on it just to keep the beast running whilst he saves his dough for a newer ride.
