    2001 mamba replacement

in 2002 i bought an 01 mamba for $376 cdn. its a great bike ( well cared for by me) and still runs smooth, quiet and solid. its a great bike for long urban/fireroad rides, sure it weighs a ton but its a great solid bike. i am starting to think of getting a new gf, and i would like to know which bike replaced the mamba (or is closest to the mamba). is the price similar to what i paid in 2002?and is the quality better or worse? thanks

i may choose a few models up from it but i would like to know where my current bike would stand in the fisher lineup (somewhere in the basement i'm sure, but i'm cool with that)

    thanks again

    mamba replacement

Take a look at the classic hardtail series:

The Tarpon is pretty equivalent, probably a slight step up. It is aluminum so it should certainly weight less.
