    newbe.. feel hunched over

the girl at the BS set the seat height so my heel rest on the pedal at the bottom stroke with my knee locked. i brought it home and i felt that i was hunched over and my wrists where unconformable. is that normal?
i am 5'11'' 280 lbs and the bike is a Fuji outland pro full suspension .

I'm 5'9 and find the Outland RC provides a somewhat upright riding position. Was the steer tube already cut or cut to fit you? On a 17" frame my steer tube is around 8.5 - 8.75".
