My "new" 2008 Fuji Outland Pro build!

Hey all, below are some pics of my newly completed Fuji Outland. I located and purchased the frameset new online and assembled the components from research both here and locally. Very pleased with the result!

A local LBS, Tree Fort Bikes in Ypsilanti, MI did the build for me (Thanks to Ben specifically!) They are a great shop to work with, and I look forward to utilizing them more in the future! Also props to Mike T. who posts quite a bit in the Wheel and Tires section for turning me onto Bicycle Wheel Warehouse and the Pure XCM hubs/rims - a great wheelset for a killer price!

Looking to get it dirty and posting results when I can get out on the trails! I am listing my components list below for those that are interested!

    Cheers,
    A2

That's a great build. I got a 2008 frame/fork/headset for $321 at the Denver Veloswap today and moved all the components off my 2009 Forge Sawback 5xx (hardtail) over. Well, everything except the front deraileur. Apparently a regular clamp-on Deore deraileur doesn't mount properly on the seat tube so I'll have to try your SRAM or go with a Shimano XT "down pull."

If I sound like a novice, I am. Moved to Denver (from KC) last year and just started riding some singletrack along the mountains and realized I wanted a FS on the cheap

    Thanks, guys! Appreciate the props!

Hey Fibula, truth be told, I'm pretty new to this as well. I had done some riding back before I got married and had kids in the mid-90's out in Northern California. Finally have the means to get back into it, and am looking forward to it. The technology certainly has come a long way!

You'll have to let me know what you think of it as well - and post your own pics!

    Cheers,
    A2

Likin' the looks of that one, nice! @Wisdom, I love mine. I've only taken it on 2 real rides so far, but the fit, feel and performance of it are very good in my opinion.

Love the colors. Very well thought out in terms of component selection, and keeping with the red and white theme. Nice job!
