I'll stick with the faithfull Trophy since i know it & dont have to search. It's hard to buy a better quality to value bike.

throw the tahoe pro out of the picture..
and the 6700 is not that bad..

and you posted a link to the 2002 model
    this is 2007

The Ibex is obviously cheaper, but if you could bargain down the trek to 900 something..wow that would be good.

If the difference is 1100 vs 900 for the Ibex, just go with the one which wont break your bank.

    why ?

Why would you through The Tahoe Pro out? This is one of my favorites! I use my Rockhopper on the Tahoe Trail and Tahoe pro for So. Cal trails.

I have owned both the Fuji Tahoe Pro and the Trek 8000. I have used both bikes to ride on Toads Wild Ride mountain bike trail in Lake Tahoe , and definitely I prefer the Trek. Recently, I decided to ride bike to my work place at 3 Peaks Lake Tahoe Hotel, this works out really well and we will have one less car polluting the environment.
