Fuji Tahoe Comp as a first bike?

I'm probably going to order it next week as my first mountain bike. I'm going to be doing just trail riding in southern California any thoughts? I'll make a similar post in the beginner forum, i just wanted the opinion of the 29er crowd.

i'd be a little wary of the fork.....especially if you're a heavier rider. are you able to test ride it first? otherwise, it looks like a fine entry-level trail bike.

The Tahoe comp is available as a 29er now? The fork on the 26" version was pretty bad. Not sure what component package they are putting on a 29" version.

I think the fork is a Dart 3.

Wow, I must have missed a bunch of things. When did the 29" Dart come out?

Not a bad package at all. I would definitely look into the Special Ed BCD recommended as well though.
