    2012 Fuji Tahoe 1.0 a good bike?

I'm mostly into road bikes, but wanted to get into a little mtb right now. I'm looking to pick up a 2012 Tahoe 1.0 with 26" wheels. XT components and Rock Shox Recon Gold components. I would be using it for our lunchbreak rides at work that is about 12 miles with lots of hills. I've tried my buddy's full-suspension 29er and it was easy going up, but going down with the tight turns we have, kind of worried me. I'm thinking of staying with a 26er. Not looking to break the bank since most of the funds have gone towards my road bike. Any opinions from owners would greatly help. Thanks.

I have a 2013 Nevada 29 1.5 and I love this bike a lot. When it comes time to upgrade the bike itself I'll be looking into the tahoes as well. Fuji's are really good solid bikes. I personally don't think you'd be disappointed.
    Love my FUJI!!!
