2010 Fuji Outland Comp
I'm looking at purchasing a used 2010 Fuji Outland Comp for around $750 used. It's low miles, good shape and bike mechanic owned and well tuned. I really know nothing about Fuji or this model and was wondering if any of you all had experience with this bike?
I don't have the money to purchase any full suspensions for over $1000, so I have to go used. I do minor uphill, downhill and just basic trail riding. I do hit it pretty hard though. Any drop or jump I can find I go out of my way to hit it! Haha. I heard Deore components were good and I like the hydrolic disc brakes! Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
I just purchased an '09 Outland Pro brand new for $1100, and it has a phenomenal component spec. The 2010 Comp, OTOH, has some suspect suspension components, IMO.Based on your "hit it hard" comment, you're going to find the limitations on that Dart fork, and the Suntour shock pretty quickly. That said, if the bike frame is the right size, and you're willing to upgrade soem components in the future, you ahve a great baseline to start with. Even moreso if you can talk the seller down another $50.00.
FWIW, Performance bike still has the '09 Outland Pro in a 15" Frame (XS) for $999.00.
I hope this helps.
