What is the plan for attaching the upper piece? I just wonder about potential movement/ creaking?

I've heed doing 3 price IS headtube for a few years with great success. the parts are press fit with a 0.005" interference. The bike is then welded together. then the cups get a tiny fillets of 45% silver before the bike is aligned. It works perfect.

I notice you've said "production versions". Does that mean you're offering them up? How long are you going to make the 'blank'?
No longer member of the bike industry nor society, so don't hassle me.
