    Practice steel tube-ends and bits...

Hey, I'm looking to pick up steel practice material for brazing -- tube ends and other bits. I'd heard that some builders were willing to off-load this stuff cheap, yes? Price of shipping plus a little for the trouble to box it up and such... I've cut up a couple old broken frames, but am rapidly running low. Any one out there willing?

It's probably easier to just get some straight gauge. 0.035" and 0.028 are good practice and cost like $5 a foot. I've been learning to TIG and got like 15 practice joints out of a 4' stick.

Email me. I always have random scrap.

Keep in mind that a lot of pro builders will mostly have heat treated/harder/thinner stuff mostly which is not going to always be the best to learn on.
