Overhauling the roadmaster worth it?

Hi all. I have this old roadmaster frame that I was considering setting up for a "around town" rig. I was thinking about pulling everything off and sanding down and repainting the frame. Anyone think this would be worth my while or am I wasting my time. Where are some good sites I can get descent components for cheap? Needs a new drivetrain front to back.

roadmasters are never worth the time, but seriously the amount you would spend on fixing it up you could spend and get a new bike at a bike shop that will be pounds lighter and better specd

In my opinion you would be much better off picking up an older bike on Craiglist and overhauling that instead. I see a lot of decent older bikes around $100.

Roadmasters are crap.
