Newb Tube Miter Question. Double miter?

I'm building my first frame so this is totally a NEWB question: If you have your seat tube and down tube slightly intersecting at the bottom bracket which tube do you double miter or do you double miter both?

    Thanks!

The seat tube goes on first, and welded all around. Then the down tube goes on after. You mitre the down tube into the BB shell and seat tube.

If I don't make an attempt, how will I know if it will work?

    Double miter the DT

As Eric pointed out the first operation for "most builder's" is to weld the seat tube to the BB . I've moved away from welded the ST / BB together 100% as a first operation and now just take weld the ST / BB first then finish the mitering process for the rest of the frame including the DT chain stays and weld everything in sequence in the end.
