Can you bore a threaded BB to PF30?

I have a carbon frame with derailleur hanger that I would like to turn into a singlespeed without the use of a tensioner. Is it possible to bore out the threaded BB to a PF 30 so I can use an EBB?

I doubt it, I wouldn't .. just use one of these Philcentric Outboard Bottom Bracket Cups

BB30 is 42mm ID. PF30 is 46mm ID. You have to ask yourself if you can machine 4mm out of the ID and still have a strong enough shell (or any left at all most likely.)

I believe the OP has a standard threaded BB shell, in which case it definitely will not work.
