BB92 reamer/facer for Cyclus tools
Would anyone be interessted in a reamer that is compatible to the Cyclus integrated headtube reamer/facer tool?
we are tired of waiting for a company to start offering reamers for BB92,so we decided to do drawings and look around for a toolmaker, which we found. I think all of you know how expensive tools can be especially one-offs and custommade
If we can get enough preorders it would be possible to start with a decent number for the first production run to get an acceptable price.
So long story short: would anyone of you be interessted in a BB92 reamer
compatible with Cyclus tools?
Sorry for my "german english"
Ingo
one more thing: would you prefer HSS or HSS-E Co8?

Yes
What size are you getting it made to. I have read 41mm on here but after measuring a few Focus and Cube shells none are exactly 41mm

we know that problem very well...a lot of cups are not to spec. either.
actually the problem starts at Shimano. They just specīd 41mm without any tollerances.
the reamers will be 40.95mm(- 0,03mm).

I'd love one as long as the price is right.

Maybe, depends on price. I'll be honest I don't know what the difference is between HSS or HSS-E Co8 so maybe a little more info and a guide as to what difference it will make in use would help

HSS E-Co8 is a higer quality toolsteel which basically stays sharp for a longer period of time and has an higher tollerance against high working temperatures.
We are investigating the possibility of getting additional ti nitride coating
for a little upcharge.
If we can get a 20+ production run the prize will be ~ 93.50 Euro (plus VAT) or ~ 121.50$

@ Matt: would you be interested in Evo2 in stainless steel?

I'll have a think about the reamer, might be something we would use in the retail shop too. Would you be able to mount it with a facer too? (doesn't look like it from the pic)
I'll be honest, I always thought the Evo2 was stainless. It doesn't really matter to me, I'm happy with either, don't really require stainless and I imagine it would push the price up
