Anyone built an off road trailer, bob yak style?

Thinking about building something for touring trips. I don't really have anything special to bring to a design, it would basically be a bob yak with a few tweaks, but wondering if anyone out there has done anything similar?
Main issues I guess would be dropout attachment (would probably just buy a bob axle for this) and the min steering pivot (thought about using a 1" ht and aheadset for this...). Also any advice on wheel size? Bobs are 16", 20" obviously readily available, could also go 700c (spare wheel?).

Take a look at Jac k Taylor bike trailers, the Taylors used headsets for the pivots.
