I have a smaller one of these magnets, but I can't find it at the moment. I don't braze with this one, but works for the pic.

I got them at airgas, I'm not sure of the brand.

I have some modified welding clamps. The ones on flickr were possibly a little over-the-top, I should take a picture of the old ones with a fixed hold down tool

I use gravity quite a bit. Here's some examples:

I also use gravity and these "dogs" that I was given when I went to Yamaguchi's frame building school.

"Alnico" magnets are the bomb but expensive at MSCdirect. They don't burn up like some magnets.
Those swivel headed ones are so awesome for fixturing tubes together for tacking but I'm scared to braze with them for some reason, maybe their coating.

Seen the Henry James "coat hanger"? Bent rod to 90 degrees that cradles the cable stop with gravity.
Seen lots of folks using coat hangers bent to fix all kinds of stuff for brazing.

    Those "dogs" are sweet!

I have two Sputnik ones and the are the best though. Easy to align the top tube stops with them and not have to rely on gravity. I like being able to swivel the frame for a better angle and they hold the brazeons tight.
