Anti seize paste for Ti frames

Is Shimano anti seize paste ok with Ti, or should I buy some Ti prep?

it could work, but I'd recommend using the right stuff.

I don't know what the Shimano stuff is or looks like, but if it resembles conventional anti-seize compound, like what you'd find at an auto parts store, then it will work fine.

the Shimano stuff is white like toothpaste, whereas ti prep is copper coloured.

Aaaahhhh, ok, I see now. Thank you for the reply. From what i've seen that stuff reminds me rubbing/polishing compound. I have never tried using that stuff. If it was me i'd just buy "the right stuff".

    Sorry it doesn't help much.

I think the shimano is good for steel on steel only. Finishline makes some good stuff. Dont risk any ionic bonding (although i have never seen antiseize of any nature cause this as chemistry would like you to believe).

Have had success with bot Ti Prep and the silver automotive anti-seize. Do not fully understand the difference between the two though.
