New question here. Adding water bottle bosses to steel fork?

To those of you that have experience with this-

I want to add bosses for mounting bottle cages to a steel mtn bike fork (ala Salsa Fargo fork). What is the best and safest way to do this-Rivnuts or have a builder braze on mounts?

I still want to ride the bike (29er) on rough singletrack so I don't want to compromise the structural integrity. Thoughts here? Thanks. I weigh 140 if that matters.

Brazed in mounts should not compromise the integrity of the fork at all, especially for someone your weight.
Too many bikes, not enough time.

    Safe? yes Reliable? not very
I have never known of a brazed-on mount fail, but I have seen many rivnuts spin after a short life.

The smaller the hole the safer the fork. Rivnuts use a bigger hole compared to a braze on.
