    130mm chainstay clearance enough for Bud + 100mm rim?

    I'm doing a 190mm frame and have 130.5mm clearanced near the BB. I have 445mm chainstays. Wondering if this will be enough with the yoke on the crankside. I'm using 780mm as an overall tire diameter.

    Hey;

    The Surly stuff is likely "accurate," but that said, there is also nothing like having the bits in hand to avoid heartache.

    I posted up some Lou measurements here:

    I think you'll be just fine with that amount of tire clearance. The Surly specs are close on my NEW tire, i don't know if they'll stretch out a bit though over time. Whether you have chainring/crankarm clearance is another story and hard to answer from the info you gave.

    Good luck!
