Stupid, but sometimes witty. Occasionally brilliant. Slow and fat though.

Very nice looking bike. Great lines decked out in a nice color. I'd sure like to test ride that thing. Any other shots of it?

I don't get it, either. Don't really give a rip about the chainstays, but why build a burly bike like that in a size small and NOT an extra-large?

Surely the smalls won't sell in big numbers, and I bet XL's would do exactly that. The bike looks absolutely MADE for big guys!

I was hesitate on buying one without being able to demo one; reading your comment has me concerned now since I'm 6'2 225lbs.

MBA has done a review. You can read it on the Foes site: Mountain Bike Action Reviews The Foes Shaver 29 In Dec 2012 | Foes Racing

a very positive review but then MBA usually makes happy noises about any frame they test, I want to hear from people who dropped the money and spent serious time on their home trails. My plan was to wait until I got a test ride on the Foes but I'm not sure Foes will build up a small tester, may just have to jump right in.

I just got my shaver 29 build finished. I got the large frame and I am 6' 3" and 240 lbs. All I can say is I am having a blast. It is definitely confidence inspiring. I am riding faster and farther. If you are considering a foes you will not be disappointed. I was a little worried spending the money but I have no regrets. My old ride was a Prophet. Definitely a night and day difference.

Glad to see your happy with your new ride. I am thinking about getting a F275 at the end of the year. I just wish Foes would have used the Curnutt shocks on their new models.
