My Zig-Zag! This bike is SO MUCH FUN!

This is my oldest bike that I have and I actually still ride. Its a 32lb beast, but floats around corners and over jumps. Im Grinning from ear to ear every time I ride it. I've considered selling it, but no one has made me the right offer to want to part with it.

This is a Large. I forgot to weigh the frame before building. But it's 31.7lbs as it sits in the pic (pedal'less).
Finally got it into some dirt the other day... which required a long drive south (it's been all snow and ice up here). The bike is perfect.
I've had a Weasel, 2 FXR's, a DHS Tube, 2 Mono's, and an XCT. This Shaver is the perfect combination of them all.
It pedals fine, and it drops smooth. I believe, it's perfect.

Made a few changes since last posted. replaced the Fox 36 with a 170m Lyrik air, rc2dh. carbon bars, tubeless, weight weenie cassette and chain.

As built it's 30.25 pounds - in an extra large.

man that bike looks tough. it's total raw, totally stripped back, like the essence of mtb, real agricultural beast. looks like it means business too, got a real sense of purpose about it, like it's ready to rock some serious sh!t... bring it on!

my 5" 06 fxr's still going strong, got the curnutt serviced in new zealand the other day. gotta have my triple chainring though. been smoking cigers every day lately, not just when drinking. makes me spew my lungs out when climbing. gettin' old, hehe.

what's the dhx-air like with the single pivot?

Thanks. That's quite a compliment. The DHX Air works great on the FXR. It does bob a bit more, but really not that bad compared to other bikes. It's much more supple on high speed hits and I am able to use the travel better.

Who me? Yah, it's custom. Longer TT than stock. It's basically an XL.
