You should probably be on a large. What year frame are you looking at?
Stupid, but sometimes witty. Occasionally brilliant. Slow and fat though.

Plus one on the large, as I am 6" and the 08 in large fits perfect.

I am 5' 10", ride a medium FXR, zero offset seatpost, 100mm stem, big set of riser bars. There's no way I'd want anything smaller than that. I personally don't think offset posts work so well with this frame for XC/AM (relative to the pedals, the seat is way too far back). So, if you need the extra room, look at a large. It's top tube is 1 inch longer than a medium.

My current FXR ('05) is a large and I'm 5'10". It works but I'm having a new one built and it's a medium.

Dude. what are you getting? A new frame or used?

If you are selling your large, PM me - I have a friend in need of a frame...

    go large

you probably should ride a large. i'm 6' exactly and the large 06 FXR with 90mm/5 degree thomson stem is absolutely perfect for me. i've considered a set back seat post but i don't really need it. i've noticed you see a few FXR's with set back seat posts.
