FXR 2008 review - after a full season

Posted it here before I remembered that there was a pure Foes section

So...I bragged a lot about the handling and all that a year ago.
A new season is almost over, and there has been some massiv upgrades on my Foes.
New forks, new seat post, sram-a-tized, bash guard, stem...

But I won't change the frame for anything.
This will be the first bike that I own for more than 2 seasons...can't find anything that matches it.

The only thing that sucks with owning a Foes, is the Curnutt service. If you live in Europe, you either need to ship it to the UK or Italy...and go though all the paperwork with customs and stuff, and be without the shock for 2-3 weeks (sometimes more). Good for us in Norway, the local dealer offers to collect all the shocks this winter and ship them all to the UK service center...which makes things easier. But still...if you ride A LOT, you might need a service more often....

Shoot man, I live in Arizona and am at a 6 week wait period for my Curnutt service. But I refuse to run any other shock, so it will be worth it when I get it back,....any day now!!!!!
