    fxr 2:1 and fox 36

Considering getting a fox talas 36 to a 2007 fxr. Heard that the corwn of a fox 36 will hit the downtube of the fxr. Is that tru ? Anyone riding a fxr 2:1 with a fox 36 ?

    Thanks

According to Chris at FOES (I emailed him re a shock enquiry) the FXR was designed around the Fox 36! So really it should be fine..

    Slightly

On my med 07 fxr with a 160mm fox talas 36 the only thing that hit is the talas lever and it grazed the paint off the gusset weld.

consider a Cane Creek S8 with a +5mm stack. Hardly affects the geo but you will defo avoid any contact between fork and down tube. Did exacly that for my RS Lyrik setup.

S8 is a fairy descent HS
