    Curnutt Clunk??

Have heard about the infamous Curnutt Clunk.

What is this exactly? I have some clunking going on, curious if that is it.

i thought i remember someone saying it was because of all the metal parts inside, but kinda dont believe that.
i still have the "clunk" on my DHS Mono w/ the coil Curnutt. i sent it to them after i first got it thinking there was a problem, but apparently there wasnt one. its ridden the same since i got it 4 years ago.
i didnt get a clunk on my Curnutt Air though.

I sent my Curnutt in for servicing, six months later, still works like butter. Apart from the creaky steel spring on there, have been hearing a clunk at times. Shock still works awesome, but just curious what the Curnutt clunk was....I for one don't really care about creaky and clunk sounds as long as the performance remains sound.
