I have an 04 Fly. Just replaced the 2 ring MRP LRP (which was performing poorly), with an E13 LG1. The problem is the chainline is about 8 or 9mm further out than it should be, not good.
Anybody else have an 03/04 Fly running an E13 LG1? Or any E13 chainguide for that matter? Any issues with setup?
I have a 118mm ISIS BB. There seems to be two parts to this problem. One is to get the chainring to where it needs to be. It's been suggested than a new crankset with X type BB might help there. But the other part of the problem is getting the chainguide mounted far enough inward. Looking at it, I'm not sure how it's going to work. Do I need to use a Foes approved chainguide only or is there a way to make this work?
Looking for suggestions. Thanks.
