    That guy is tough. I hope to still be a decent rider at his age.

    I had never heard of that race, it seems pretty cool. The rules are a little wonky, like you can't make lodging arrangements until the race starts, but then you can? The gun fires, and everyone starts dialing their phone? You can't use social media to solicit assistance but you can get help from "road angels" who see your social media posts?

    At any rate, it sounds pretty cool. The race is 8 days in and a lot of the riders are not halfway yet.

    There's not really much accommodation to book on the Nullarbor stretch. It's hard enough on a motorbike with the throttle pinned. Those guys are awesome.
