    Question about the Felt AR5

So, I recently did a triathlon but i used my road bike... it's old and a pos. So i'm in the market for a new one. The dilema, I want a UCI legal bike i can use for road racing, but i also want it to have "features" that would work for Triathlon's also. I did some searching and found the Felt AR5. It's in my price range and is similar to what i think i'm looking for. This brings me to my main question. Is it UCI legal to use in road races? Non-TT and TT alike.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Hysteriamk2

The AR-series are UCI legal for all road race and TT events, and were used quite extensively by the Garmin-Slipstream pro team when we were their bike sponsor.

I think you will find that quite a lot of people in your position choose the AR, and similar aero road bikes.

Feel free to pm, email, or post any other questions you have!

Thanks for the quick reply. Plan on giving it a test ride at my local shop soon!

The AR series is going to be by far the best choice and the best derailleurs for dollars that does about everything you need it to do. Plus Felt makes some pretty spank bikes.
