    what are some upgrades i can make to my felt q520?

    The fork would probably be the best bang for the buck upgrade that you'd notice and then a decent wheelset, other than that the frame is the same across the board (520,620,720) so its a solid platform to build on, check out Lenbo's bike in the felt thread, we pieced most of it together at the shop I work at and he's pimped it out. So, fork n wheelset, and components as you break em.

    and another thing to think about is tires, personal preference is a big part and terrain is another, but those can change the way a bike acts and reacts, and especially if you choose to go tubeless, just my 2 cents

    550 is a killer deal. I just started mountain biking this year, and a Q520 is the bike I bought. Almost 300 miles on it without a single hick up. Great starter bike for anyone, because now I'm hooked on mountain biking!

    My wife really enjoys the heck out of hers. :-)

    I went to my LBS recently, the 2012 520 is just as "pretty" as the 2011.
