Nice Ride! Enjoy it! I used one for a few weeks while my Virtue 2 was being fixed and liked it. The only thing I didn't like were the narrow handlebars but it handled great!

Hey, I have the same bike and love it. The only things I have done to mine is bought a longer seat post and different tires. Other than that, its a solid bike.

I have an '08 Nine Elite (I think it's the same components as yours)...I also love it. I have made a few changes to get the weight down and make it fit me a bit better, but overall I am very pleased with it. Is that a 15.5" frame? It looks the same as mine.

    Yup 15.5

The 15.5 is actually very close in size to a fisher 17.5

i just switched it to tubless.

The only difference in the comp and elite is the fork and brakes...

Really? I just started looking into getting a new HT 29er and the Felt Nine Comp has caught my attention (I was looking at the new 2010 model). I used to have a Fisher Rig which I loved, but sadly I sold it this past summer. It was a 17.5". So I should test ride the 15.5 in the Felt Nine Comp?

Anyone know anything about the new Manitou Drake 29er fork?

So I get a call from one LBS today saying they will be getting their shipment of new 2010 Nine Comps later this week and they will assemble a 17.5 for me to test ride.

Another LBS has a leftoever '08 15.5 Nine Comp discounted down to $699. Now...based on this thread and what I've been reading here on MTBR...it sounds like the 15.5 is the size I might need. Keep in mind this LBS is about an hour drive away from me. I'm thinking of going to check it out sometime this week, then test riding the new 17.5 at the other LBS. For $699 it almost seems hard to pass on if the fitment is right.

I'm 5'9.5" with a 30" inseam... 225 lbs clyde. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Felt aluminum 29er's fit on the big side along of the sizes. A lot of guys that would normally ride a 19.5" chose to go with the 17.5 because the top tubes were too long.
