    Felt NINE Elite??

    Hello 29er crowd,

I am helping pick out a bike as gift for a friend - and based on his riding style and the budget allowed I have pretty much settled on a Felt NINE Elite.

Anyone have any knowledge or experience with it - good or bad before I go pick it up?

    Thanks,

    Kirk

I think for the price, it's pretty on par with similar bikes. The person who I know that owns one seems to be riding it more than his new Ventana El Ray 29r.

I bought the 29er Pro for the better parts that came with the complete built. Overall, I am very satisfied with Felt's package and frame quality. Really enjoy the 29er platform for downhill stability and comfort.

    Thanks Guys -

I picked it up last night - and he will be getting it as a gift tonight - I was dying to ride it - but could not do that to a friend.

I sure hope my wife gets some ideas from this for my bday - LOL

I will ride it once he has a chance to get it dirty - and then report back on my first ever 29 ride.

Me too. My wife would be the type to go out and by something like that. She's a keeper!

Nah - I did not "buy" the bike - his girlfriend did -

All I did was help to pick the best bike based on his size, riding style, current availability, and her budget.
