    Felt NINE C

I thought this forum may like to see the bike I've built for the wifey. Great Frame - size 14 (XS). Frame was 1080g with collar, hanger, bottle bolts, chain catcher.
Will post finished pics later if interested.

Sweet. What did the frame run for cost?

What is your build going to consist of? Trying to decide between this & a Cdale both stock. Love the Lefty, but the proprietary limits of Lefty & 1.5 head tube can limit wheel options, etc. I like the gloss of the frame, stock complete is matte.

Here is the prelim - have not finished stem height/length or cut brake hoses. She liked it! Very quick accelerating.
As you can see, all XTR and some customized Stan's wheels.
It a 120 SID RCT3 that runs so little pressure for her 115lbs that it's more like a 105/110 travel.
Weight is 21lbs 1oz with the Geax 730g tire. Should be 20.5 when done.

What was she riding before this and how does ride quality compare?

Thanks for any input you can give.

    T,
She still has her Turner Sultan as the trail bike. This is her first hard tail in a couple years and that was a 26 aluminum. She says it soaks up the chatter very well (I think the 27.2 Ritchey seatpost really helps). Also, very responsive to sprints and standing for short uphills. Long, rough trails, she likes the full squish better, but XC is great.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm trying to find out if it'll be a noticeably smoother ride than the '11 team nine or if I should go back to steel for my xc needs. Got a 5" 650B for the rough stuff.
