That brings back memories. I used to live in Mt Isa and I know just how those temperatures feel.

I can remember one night with the airconditioning on full managing to get the temperature down to 90F so I could process some film.

There's only so much clothing you can remove....

Thanks for taking the heat so we can enjoy some cold.

I live about 100 km (60 miles) north of New York City, where we're getting the first big snowstorm of the season. Looks like we may get as much as 20-25 cm (8-10") of snow. It should taper off after noon, so as soon as my 1:00 pm conference call is finished, I'm throwing the fat bike in the truck and heading off to the local state forest to hit the trails.

Oh yes, nice snowstorm last night, all the way back from our Brewery Ride. At one point, I passed a groomer, but it only really lasted about half a mile before I took another path. About 4" of fresh new dry snow. Extremely light so real easy to ride fast in, like smoke.Yin and yang-16602897_10101045724851208_335636380404995467_n.jpg

Dang I could have used a brewery ride. I was stuck working at the bike co-op and missed the ride. The freshies were nice down the Spenard Hwy last night.
2 more inches today 2 more tonight and 2 more on Friday. I like the reloading.

Ugh. Nope. I'd live in a climate that's yearround below freezing with driving snow before I'd try to cope with that.
Respect to Australians for dealing with heat, poisonous snakes, salt water crocs, great white sharks, wildfires, and whatever else they have.
