    That looks quite nice in that shade of green and the rest of the ride appears to be hoot worthy. The best line in the article is telling us they went to a threaded BB shell followed by a disclaimer about the lack of legitimate complaints about PF and that the real reason is crank options. That may be the case, but IMO what the hell is the "newer" PF tech doing on anything Surly. The curmudgeons may have been appeased with this development.
    I don't know why,... it's just MUSS easier to pedal than the other ones.

    All I know is I like the bottom bracket, I like the shorter stays and I like the 5.1" tire clearance.
    And the color is almost as cool as my current bike.

    Can we read into this that Surly might make a full 5" tyre if they not have the frame to handle it??

    Maybe. OR they decided to make a frame that can fit the Snowshoe XXL.
