Twenty2 Cycles Warning Fat Pron Content.

I've been working with Twenty2 cycles on a new frame but due to standards changing (aka Bluto) things where set back a little but the good ole boys up in Vale literally bent their design to fit my needs/wants. I have been very impressed with their communication, heck the other night I was getting emails at 2am which had me so excited I didn't sleep the rest of the night. Anyoo here's the start of a little fat porn for ya.
    Big Bully bent for Bluto

bOb, that looks like it will be worth the wait...and I am sure we are all just as excited as you are to get the build finished.

I know how you feel. I have a Banshee Prime bare frame sitting in my basement...waiting to be built up. Lack of funds prevents any further progress.

Yup it's painted on under the clear, I sanded it down and had it re cleared.

Sorry those are Light Bicycle carbon 90mm rims laced to Hope 197 12mm rear and a 135 front space disc with adapters to spread it out to 150 for the Bluto.

A very nice collection of parts, it is going to be a sweet ride. Do you have an ETA for the frame?

    Cheers!

Thanks Steven, this morning they said I might have a pic of the completed frame by this weekend we will see. I will probably pay to have is shipped extra fast, can't have this bad boy in a box for too long besides this is my Burley hauler and summer is flying by and the kids and wife are getting anxious for some riding time.

The real good news is I've done 2 40ish mile fast paced road rides this week so the legs are getting back in shape some.

You should take a series of pictures of all the places you've gone with your box of parts.
    Box of parts outside LBS.
Box of parts at the trail head.
Box of parts at scenic overlook.
Box of parts at the beer store.....

I think you will love the finish bOb...so subtle and clean, and that head badge is really really nice. Match that frame with some matte carbon bits and you will have a very nice machine. I am guessing too nice to bring out on anything other than hero dirt!!

It is one of my specialties, and you are not my only victim.

I see you edited your rant, but constantly missing deadlines and breaking promises says a lot about how a business is managed. History usually provides a lesson that places like that don't stay in business for long, as the shortfalls you are experiencing are usually not only limited to "just" missing deadlines. I am guessing the employees there have experienced some of the same headaches you have....come payday.

Small businesses should do everything they can to meet and EXCEED customer expectations. That is the point of a small business!! To be able to work very close with a customer, and provide them with an experience and product that they could not get with any other business.

Well they are doing me a big solid sending it next day so it should be here tomorrow. Burnt Orange told me the other day that I sounded like his wife and I'm thinking there might be some truth to that

Overall there has been a few delays that they might have been able to avoid and a ton that couldn't be avoided but Todd had went well out of his way to basically reinvent his stock frame design to fit my needs. I do know in the end I am going to have a one off frame that should do exactly want I want it to do and I have never once second guessed my decision to go with them. Complete pics tomorrow.

I sat and stared at the box for about a half an hour, kinda like waiting outside her on your first date and afraid to knock on the door.

That is your first issue...don't just sit there staring at it. Get your fingers in there and do some work! Then when you've got the box good and loose, pull it out.

Yeah, after all is said and done, he can't pull the trigger.

Maybe...it's just a box; doesn't look batter enough to have gone through a proper shipping.

I got er done last night just waiting on the proper furniture polish that will be in today so I can get some final glam shots before giving it a good thrashing tonight. Turned out better than I expected and the weight it decent as well.

A little teaser before I put Bluto on.

This thing rips, I couldn't wait to ride it so no complete pics yet. I washed it tonight and will get some on tomorrow. Here is a few I did manage to squeeze off. Oh and I am now a huge advocate for shortish chainstay length at least for summer thrashing.

That looks incredible, Bob. What's the geo of the frame, particularly HTA & CS length?
