You may want to look at USE ShokPosts. I've been riding them for 20 years, always the first upgrade.

I've been using a Thud LT for almost a year, and I wouldn't want to ride without it.

Riding Fat and still just as fast as I never was.

I don't know if they're "overwhelming favorites", but I love these:

My buddy rides a Thudbuster on his Pug and loves it. (I do not use one on my Fatback, but I've been curious to try one..)

I ise an LT on all of my hardtails, including the Krampus.

Only exception is my pugs. To me the tire (BFL or Nate on a Clown Shoe) is enough cushion.

Saw your post of Bone Wash and Washington/Iron County surroundings.Good job show casing what the area offers to fatbikers. I too am always on the search for new fat bike routes, esp the narrow desert washes. I don't know much about the Arizona Strip just south of St George but, like that guy who recently replied to your post, I want to scout it out for fat biking opportunities. You guys feel free to get in touch with me for a fat bike ride or to compare notes on some good routes.

I've owned and used a thud buster for a few years and love it. On my last trip I swapped it out for my seat dropper because I was towing a trailer and I missed it, even though I was on the Moony with a Lou or BFL on the back. At road pressures, 20psi, even the Lou / BFL transmits the bumps, particularly over 30Kph.

It seemed like a good idea!...... at the time......

using thudbuster st on my 26'er and 29'er.

I love 'em. every 2 years and I need a refresh kit to change out bushings (or leave it and listen to the rattle)

had USE shokpost too, and it was nice. but no one carried parts and I broke it too many times...so moved to thudbuster st...which I cannot break no matter what I do, only bushings wear out in time

on the pugs I don't have one but not because I wouldn't use it, it just came from the bike shop with a saddle that somehow...I am not missing the thudbuster. plus as other say, on low pressure you kinda don't need it or you want some feel of what the rear is doing
