    Theft resistant skewers for Mukluk

My wife just got a Mukluk yesterday, and in case she wants to ride it around town I'd like to get her some locking skewers. I'm pretty sure the Velo Orange ones aren't long enough but I'm not sure about the Pitlocks. Are there any other options I'm not aware of?

Best advice is don't leave a fat bike untended in a busy city
The smart bike thieves know they are "in" right now and worth money.

I'm just curious - what's the point of locking skewers?

This isn't a skewer but I use a u lock with cable to keep all of the bike in one place. Not much more hassle than a plain u lock which you probably already have if you're worried about theft...

It's just a way to keep the wheels on the bike. If you don't have quick releases, then you can just lock the frame with a u-lock.

Obviously leaving it indoors most of the time is the ticket, but if she wants to ride it to the grocery store it would be nice if somebody didn't run off with the wheels.

    Theft resistant skewers for Mukluk

I just use a locking skewer on the front wheel and use locks through the frame and rear wheel...
