Super excited....have a Pugsley on the way !

Some quick background. Been riding since I was 4 ish...now in my 30's. Currently have a Cannondale sl4 29er that I recently purchased to replace my Kona Hoss that I had for 6 years. I am enjoying it but really need to upgrade the rims and fork.
I have looked at fat bikes for years, and really thought they would be great fun. Sooooo...I just found an incredible deal on a 2012 Pugsley used/demo...like new. Complete bike, stock setup. Can't wait to ride this thing. I am nervous that the Cannondale may end up sitting in the back of the garage because this will be too fun to put away.
anyways, I will post pics when it comes in...just wanted to share the excitement.
Thanks, and I really am enjoying this sub forum

    You will love it.
I sold (am selling) my other mountain bikes!

    Welcome to the Fat!
My bike is heavier than yours - it does not have Carbon or Titanium parts - I love it!

Enjoy the new Pugs. It's one amazing bike.

Personally I wouldn't get rid of your other MTB unless riding a rigid MTB 24/7 is you thing and works for your local terrain.

At the very least wait until the new bike lust is over and you are thinking straight again.
    Safe riding,

Thanks again for the replies. i already checked the forks and they were not part of the recall. I am not planning to get rid of any other bikes right now, just excited for the Pugs, and I am sure I will like riding on all types of terrain, not just snow and sand.
I went for a nice ride today n my Cannondale and kept picturing the ride on some 3.7 tires!

Well, she is here! Getting it set up.... Will get some pics soon! Quick question, what tire pressure do you guys recommend for dry dirt trails?

Depending on your weight I would start around 15-12 psi front and rear and drop from there. Usually run 2-3 psi higher in the back. What are the stock tires on the pugs? The nates on my muk seem to be happy around 10-12 but I weigh 225. The nates have crazy traction. Oh, and on the not selling any bikes now, that probably will change. Just sold my banshee and am going single speed on my el mar just to keep it in the loop/fresh!

    Have fun on the fatty!
