    Soon to be fat!!

I just ordered my first fat bike, I should have it in the next few weeks. On my ride this morning all I could think about was how much fun the trail was going to be on the new bike. I put a smaller cog on my SS to build some strength in my legs to push the extra weight. I am thinking that all of my favorite SS trails should be fun with the fat bike too. Now I just have to figure out how to tell my wife I bought another bike.

Congrats! Building two of them myself right now.
As for missus - ask for forgiveness, not permission :-)

Is one for her? Otherwise, you might be in trouble.
Oh noes. I'm going to drink the Kool-Aid.

Yep, one is for her. She is cool with my two wheelers - I ride motorcycle (and she got me into motorcycles) and I have around 7 bikes in different stages of completion (3 regular rides and several projects). I built two singlespeeds for her this summer and this will be her first fatty

Don't know about OP's but most of mine are staying. Fat is good but others work well and I like them very much.

    Soon to be fat!!

So I got my new bike, the wife was not mad at all, just took a few flowers. I love it, I got a flat on my first ride but was able to use a 29" tube to make it home. Now I am running more pressure until I got my tubeless set up. Fat tires on single track is unlike anything I have done before, I get to learn how to ride again. I don't know that I'll ever be able to ride the snow, I am in Atlanta we get more pollen than snow, but I am having a blast on my new ride.
