I know a few folk are using the SKS MOM and DAD mudguards on their fatbikes. Mine have been pretty good in terms of overall protection and I like that the front has a nice, easy clip on/off fitting.
However, I can't get the rear one to stay tight at all. On any decent length of ride, it loosens off and will then swing around. This is obviously worse on rougher terrain. Wet or dry, it's always the same.
I've tried pulling more of the strap through but it seems to slip back.
On an old SKS Shockblade with a similar fitting, they had a screw-in system for holding the strap adjustment in place. I'm considering just drilling a hole in the fat one to see if that does the trick.
Any other tricks I've missed??
