Does anyone have solid info on the bike SC has coming out - not the old photo posted above? Interested to see how it will stack up against the Foes and Turner offerings. I'm set to pull the trigger on a Mutz

Instead of messing about with yet another aluminium or carbon hardtail, of which we have so many similar choices, it would be great if SC could develop and true 5" tire 190 rear short travel (100-120) suspension fatty. Something simple like a Superlight fatty would be awesome.

I doubt they're interested to be fair, it's coming to the end of fatbike season (well in the traditional sense, I like many will ride mine year round) they're based in California so would have to see the benefits they can give in their type of conditions. I think the stuff we've seen on the internet has just been a big tease, they know there are die hard fans out there who'd love them to launch a fatty, but in reality this market probably isn't of interest to them.

I would love a 120mm Santa Cruz Heckler/Superlight based fatty. Second the previous post about it. I hope that it comes true, but I will admit, the fact that Foes is USA made attracts me pretty hard over the taiwan frame.

I guess I'll be getting a Foes (which I am by no means disappointed with!)

Santa Cruz, the anti-unthreaded BB bike company, just put a PF30 in the new Stigmata. So "jumping the shark" or whatever and releasing a Fatbike is not unreasonable. Either way, as a big fan of Santa Cruz, I'd love to see what they'd come up with in the fat format!

I live in California. Started riding on snow in Nov, will be riding on snow into April or later depending on how many spring storms we get.

I emailed SC and this is their reply:

"No plans for a Fat bike at this time, sorry!

We never say never, but nothing in the works right now"
