    Question on BFL Casings Generations

How long have the newer lighter weight BFL's been around, anyone know ?

Would a 2 year old 4.7 120 TPI BFL be the latest lighter generation or not ?

    Thx in advance...

Doesn't it come down to bead at that age? Original 120tpi BFL's did not have a folding bead?

    Then came the 2 versions?

2 years old seems like it would not be an UL version. What does your tire weigh?

I don't know when Surly began making the folding bead BFL, but my 2012 Moonlander came with them.

OK good to know, I don't think the one I'm interested in is a folding bead, I'll know soon !
