Picked up this lil hot rod today

After doing a decent amount of research on what bike to buy for a first fat bike I decided to go with this one. It a 2016 rsd mayor. I was between this, a Farley 5 and a fatboy. I picked it up cheap! It is used but in mint condition.

I like the way it rides and can't wait to take it out for a legit ride. It is nite and day from my old giant. I never realized how cramped I was on the giant.

I have no plans for upgrades yet. I'm just going to enjoy it for now. The only thing I want to change is the spacers on the neck. It looks strange with the bars all the way down. I feel like if I wipe out I will get impaled on that thing lol

Sweet rsd. Have never seen one in person

If you like the way the bike fits then cut down the steerer tube to fit you.

I wasn't sure that could be done. Maybe my lbs can do it for me. It looks strange that long right?

    I would agree with you

    They absolutely can

I have a bike that looks just like that. I will cut it as soon as I am sure I am going to keep the fork I am trying out

Happy trails! It's a great looking bike

The RSD is a nicely appointed ride. I'm thoroughly pleased with RSD's attention to customer support, as well. Alex has been great to deal with on a Sergeant.

I'd recommend you take the time to use those spacers and move the stem up/down to find the position you really enjoy. Your LBS can do the deed when you have the stem height sorted.

    Enjoy your new friend!
