Interesting. Awesome that you've found something to scratch your itch.

The Warrior tire is marked 3.7". Have you measured casing width? Compared it to a Knard? In your last pic they look very similar in width.

On the 85mm rim @ 15psi, both casings measure 90mm wide.
The Knard tread is 79mm (3.1") wide with the Warrior tread at 91mm (3.6") which qualifies for most fat bike races including the Birkie. I suspect that on the 96mm alloy rim, the Warrior would measure 3.7" wide.
The Warrior was designed to be a low profile fat tire with the tread spread out to take advantage of the larger diameter and lower mass of a 29+. I like to call it 'Bud Light' ...same great diameter with one-third fewer calories.
The next run of the Warrior tire will have the outer tread enlarged to 3.8", improving traction in deeper snow while also enabling it to qualify for the Fat Bike Nationals.

How easy was that rim to set up tubeless? How reliable at low psi's?

what is the skinniest tire that would work on the Stans Hugo 29? I have a set of these wheels with dirt wizard 3.0 on my fatbike and am thinking of buying a salsa bucksaw frame to swap in. The only issue is on Salsa's website, it says it only has the tire clearance for a 29 by 2.4 wheel. not 29+. So anyone have any rear world experience with these rims with 2.4 tire on it? Thanks.

What size Bucksaw? It's been said that the large and extra large will fit some of the smaller plus tires, like the dirt wizard and the tire that panaracer makes

Anyone have any experience with the newer 2.6 tires on Stans Hugo rims? I am wondering how skinny of a tire you can get away this and still have a decent tire shape. Thanks.

I used 2.35" Nicotine on my 50mm rim and the profile looked ok to me, FWIW
but that was winter - you don't lean much on ice/snow Notubes Hugo 52mm Rim-nicotine-50mm.jpg
