Need Help: Drilled Rims Insert Colors

So I just recently got my rims drilled and now want to put something fun for colors or patterns or whatever in the holes instead of a rim strip. Any ideas?

Pics would be awesome.... Lets see your rims!

Clear packaging tape on the main holes and orange reflective tape from Identi-Tape on the smaller ones.

    Red reflective 3M tape. Expensive..

I've had good success taking whatever material and cutting it into small squares that go over the holes, then two tiny pieces of tape to hold them in place, then after they are all (so 32 or whatever squares over the holes) there put a couple layers of packing tape over the entire thing. It's light and allows you more flexibility with materials, like alternating, or putting it lengthwise if the material isn't available in the width needed the other way.

That's exactly what I did with the reflective tape on the smaller holes. Took some time, but a six pack and some patience made it worth it!

the foam is leftover from when i had siding installed on my house. i glued the carbon fiber cloth to it from off of ebay. you can get all different colors. over the carbon i put some automotive door sill protection. also off of ebay, the cheap stuff from china. after it's wrapped around the rim. it's all a matter of layering gorilla tape to seal the bead. although if i did it again i would order twice as much of the 4" door protection tape and use it as the final wrap around the rim also. after reading about all the gorilla tape failures it seems like a good idea.
